Application Deadlines

We have priority deadlines for admission, scholarships, and financial aid. In order to ensure that you will receive an admission decision in time for the start of your semester of enrollment, you must submit all required application materials by the priority deadline. Most programs continue to review applications that are submitted after the priority deadline, but we cannot guarantee a decision for students whose materials arrive late to EMU. Please consult the listed dates on the linked web pages for details.

High school students may apply to EMU any time after the end of their junior year in high school. Typically, high school seniors apply to EMU during the fall and early winter of their senior year, though we continue to accept application throughout the year. Students who are transferring from another college or university are encouraged to apply once they have completed 12 transferrable credits or more with a 2.0 or higher cumulative grade point average.
